This is the first european school where the tradition of the shamans of southern Africa is being taught.
At m.i.a. meditation is inseparably involved with everyday life, so that people don’t turn away from the world but rather spread their spirit of awareness in deep respect for all life. We understand healing in the sense of the african Sangomas (shamans) as becoming well and whole. Only the one who feels part of the whole, who feels as a child of Mother Earth can experience his soul, spirit and body as a harmonic whole and therefore feels holistically well.
